Saying that I am wrong about the difficulty level cause you applied a different strategy and it worked is kind of proving my point. In my humble opinion the first few maps of the campaign should be able to be beat by someone who doesn't know how to play DD2, and is only vaguely familiar with Tower defense games. The entire campaign on easy was doable with 1 character with relatively little experience.

That is a great way to get people into a game. Then, the difficulty ramped up based on the map settings. Granted, DDE ended up stupid easy with the power level at end game but I am not complaining about end game difficulty here, or for my own experience moving forward.

I don't plan on restarting over and over. Even if I do, I can get through the difficult levels in a few hours and move on. I am saying, my buddies who would love this game if they played it are casual and will drop out very very early on. I believe they are indicative of a large enough slice of gamers to be considered.

Easy Campaign should be easy. Hard should be hard. Gear drops by moving back to the gear drops Pre Patch rather than reducing the difficulty of the game if you're interested in liking the post is titled ending the great RNG debate.

I was playing as the huntress and had built some gas traps they slow down the enemies but don't do any damage , and I still got the award at the end of the game.
